thoughts on 132 - major spoilers

I'm torn over the reveal. On one side I'm jazzed that there aren't talking zombies. I can't say enough how relieved I am. On the other end...really?

Dudes put on a zombie's skin and no one (alive) can tell? They look just like zombies? I've never seen a real zombie (obviously) but I'm pretty sure I could tell the difference between a corpse and somebody with skin on their skin.
Am I being nit-picky?


Also, do they really have to talk like assholes while in the herd? Zombies don't talk. Do these guys really think if they communicate to each other in Lugosi-speak that they'll fit right in? Do they try and do it in their best Vincent Price voices? It's like a bunch of drama geeks survived Z-day.

You may remember when Glenn and Rick covered themselves in zombie guck to escape a hoard back in Atlanta. They were murmuring to each other undetected. Besides...going back to when those two guys were hiding in a lil creek bank from a hoard, ye could hear them saying, "where'd they go?" (this was the "first" time we heard zombies talk). My question is, who were those guys? Why do they care where the living went? How are two or three or so guys dressed up like the dead gonna make a difference between a couple dozen zombies. Yes, Kirkman obviously set it up so we'd think the zombies were talking. But now we know it was a couple guys in the hoard. But, why did those guys in the hoard care?

Are these a new generation of cannibals? Do they stroll around with the other zombies and eat people too? To stay alive?
