eh guys, I just got back from vacation today. The comic has been out for 3 days and no one is talking about it??
I am pleasantly surprised to find out we were partially wrong with the talking zombies. It turns out some people are wearing dead skins. They're taking zombies, skinning them (or just killing people) and skinning them, and wearing the skins. I must admit, VERY different approach than what I was thinking. My big question is; why?
Does it allow them to travel safer? Who are these people (Are they perhaps Negan's army separated?) Why are they only showing up now, after the battle with Negan lasted (a year or more?) then we had a year of story time pass by and suddenly these guys appear. Very neat idea, I'll give 'em that.
Not a lot of time given to Rick and Co. watching the sun set. I'm not totally sure why those pages were needed. Perhaps just to show how 'peachy' life is in the communities, when outside the walls, things are happening.
Though, in a previous issue, the two guys who were on their own for a while mentioned they were farther beyond the boarder than they usually were. Makes me believe there are lots of undescovered secrets left in the world.
Whatever happens to Andrea, I'm glad she (andrea) put MAGNA in her place, "if you hurt me, you wont make it out of here alive". While I'm a lil disappointed there were so few pages with Andrea's interrogation, Kirkman successfully intrigued me! Something he hasn't actually done since we found out Carl has been talking to Negan in the basement.
The last few issues have been very slow (story development) with very little zombie action.
I'm looking forward to what Magna and Andrea talk about, but I expect that to be a short conversation.
I'm VERY interested in this new "zombie hide wearing" gang.
