www.bleedingcool.com/2014/07/25/chews-biggest-crossover-yet-big-spoiler-for-this-weeks-poyo-special/"Next week’s Chew: Warrior Chicken Poyo #1, available in advance this week at San Diego Comic Con, sees our feathered friend not only beating back the vagaries of bad taste, but also violating the very laws of reality by taking a trip to another comic book also published by Image comics, standing alongside a one handed man with a gun and a woman with a samurai sword, against a horde of the undead."

I'm sure it's non-continuity based. They just had the Chew/Revival crossover and it had no bearing on either series. Especially since it's a Poyo one-shot. Poyo is basically a running gag in Chew at this point. Probably just trying to get the newer TWD fans into Chew. The Chew preview in TWD #61 worked, and that was a year and a half before the tv show.

It's a single splash page, where on it, it says, "coming soon UNDEAD APOCALYPSE POYO" followed by a "*" with a note saying " Not coming soon" They just be fucking with us.
