I think I accidentally confused this movie with ARMY OF DARKNESS (which I thought was a very cheezy none horror movie). I watched it a couple years back and didn't enjoy it. But I know it has a heavily cult following, so I certainly don't wanna offend anyone who likes Army Of Darkness. I'll be downloading Evil dead. I'll prolly download the original and watch it before watching this updated version. I've made the mistake of watching RE-MAKES before the original (like "1001 maniacs" and "I spit on your grave"). The original's have a certain majestic to them. But, the newer ones are obviously geared toward (us) and our generation which is why I'd say I like the re-makes better.

If you didn't like Army of Darkness...you might not like the original Evil Dead. It is very campy (like a horror/comedy). The new Evil Dead is more of an authentic horror film

the film is damn good...i jumped three times and squirmed in my chair twice.....and yes a woman walked out sitting two chairs two my right, she said to her man..."oh this is too much, i am going to have nightmares, and she left" and the scene she left at is still ringing in my ears, i can still hear the sound of glass, cutting flesh and scraping bone.
another friend of mine on the east coast, saw a couple leave at about the same point in the movie...woman could not handle it, and man was obliged to leave too or not get nooky for a week, lmao

The new Evil Dead is more of an authentic horror film evil dead is no where as campy as army of darkness, its the only serious movie of the series, the only thing campy about it is just buckets of blood and maybe that dancing corpse but i think that was in evil dead 2

I didn't realize such a film existed. Look, son... there are exactly two things you need to know in life: 1) Bruce Campbell is a god. 2) He needs some sugar, baby.

I've decided not to be bullied into watching a movie. It's not just a movie, it's a goddamn way of life. We're going to bully you into accepting Bruce Campbell as your Lord and Personal Savior.
